Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is hoping to avoid another Nicolo Zaniolo situation with Andrea Pinamonti according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter let Zaniolo go to Roma as part of the deal that they signed Radja Nainggolan in and Zaniolo has since blossomed in the Italian capital and has become one of the best young Italian players out there at the moment.

Inter let Pinamonti go to Genoa in a loan with obligation to buy deal this past Summer and there is a gentleman’s agreement in place between the clubs that allows Inter to sign him for €20 million.

Serie A champions Juventus have shown an interest in signing Pinamonti as of late but the report claims that due to their good relations, Inter and Genoa could come to an agreement to send him elsewhere rather than let him go to Juventus.

Hellas Verona have shown an interest in the Italian youth national team striker and clubs in France and Germany have also shown an interest. In fact, Pinamonti’s agent Mino Raiola could take his client to OGC Nice.
