Manchester United have rejected an offer from Inter to sign Alexis Sanchez according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta made a loan with obligation to buy (set at €15 million) offer to Manchester United for the Chilean nationalt team player but the Premier League club have knocked it back.

Sanchez is currently on loan at Inter until August 5 and the report explains that the former Barcelona and Arsenal star will return to Manchester United after Inter’s Europa League last 16 clash against La Liga side Getafe.

The 31-year-old joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer and after the season was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the clubs came to an agreement to briefly extend his loan to allow him to play in the remainder of the league campaign plus the above Europa League game.

During his loan spell Sanchez has made 28 appearances across all comptitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates.
