Inter central midfielder Nicolo Barella was Inter’s worst performing player in last night’s 2-0 win over Napoli at San Siro according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter took the lead via Danilo D’Ambrosio shortly after the game got underway whilst second half subsitute Lautaro Martinez grabbed the Nerazzurri’s second goal of the night with 15 minutes left to go.

Barella has been given a rating of just 5/10 for his efforts in the match where he failed to perform to the level that fans have become accustomed to him performing at.

At the other end of the scale, the best performing Inter players against Napoli were Borja Valero, Samir Handanovic, Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Alessandro Bastoni, all of whom were handed a rating of 6.5/10.

Stefan de Vrij, Antonio Candreva, Cristiano Biraghi, Diego Godin and Ashley Young all got 6/10 whilst Marcelo Brozovic and Alexis Sanchez both got 5.5.
