Samir Handanovic was Inter’s star performer in last night’s 2-0 win at home to Napoli according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Slovenian goalkeeper and Inter captain made several big saves during the match, especially in the big half, and he has been handed a rating of 7.5 for his efforts in the match at San Siro.

Alessandro Bastoni and second goalscorer Lautaro Martinez were Inter’s joint second best performers with ratings of 7/10.

Stefan de Vrij, Borja Valero and Cristiano Biraghi, who assisted the first goal, all got 6.5 as did Inter manager Antonio Conte whilst Romelu Lukaku, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Diego Godin all got 6/10.

The worst performances ont he night came from Antonio Candreva, Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella and Alexis Sanchez, all of whom were handed ratings of just 5.5 after poor performances.

Thanks to the 2-0 win over Napoli, Inter returned to second place in the league table having dropped down to third prior to the game after Atalanta had beaten Parma earlier in the day.
