Alexis Sanchez is keen to secure a permanent move to Inter according to a report from the online edition of British tabloid the Daily Star.

The Chilean national team player is currently on loan at Inter and having enjoyed his spell he wishes to stay in Milan but Manchester United have other ideas about him and his future.

The Premier League side want him back at the club next season and are ready to give him another chance to prove his worth.

Sanchez still has two years left to run on his deal at Old Trafford, which he earns £500,000 a week from (approximately €550,000).

The report goes on to explain that the former Barcelona player has made it clear to Manchester United management that he has no intention of returning and sees his future elsewhere.

Sanchez is aware he is entering the twilight years of his career and wishes to play regularly, something Inter can provide him with.

The report concludes that Inter could sign him for £30 million (approximately €33 million), provided Sanchez agrees to take a pay cut.
