Italian Media Report Inter Are Only Italian Club Capable Of Signing Barcelona’s Lionel Messi

Inter are the only club in Italy capable of signing Barcelona’s Lionel Messi according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The report explains that Inter’s owners Suning have the resources to do anything and could therefore afford a deal to bring Messi to the city of Milan.

The report also goes on to explain that up until now Messi and Barcelona have been inseperable and for the 33-year-old to leave it would mean to break it off with the entire environment as he is a symbol of the Blaugrana, unlike long term rival Cristiano Ronaldo who has played for various clubs prior to joining Juventus.

It is as yet unknown whether Inter president Steven Zhang has phoned Messi’s father regarding a move but regardless of whether he has or has not done so, any decision ultimately lies with Messi himself and nobody else.

This season the 33-year-old has made 42 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 30 goals and provided 26 assists for his teammates.
