Inter’s business in the upcoming transfer market is largely dependent on Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Much of Inter’s upcoming transfer window resolves around the attackers. Should both players remain with the club, Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio will just need to find a back-up option to Romelu Lukaku.

If one or both of them leave though, Marotta and Ausilio will be tasked with finding two more attackers. Barcelona and Manchester City have both been linked with Lautaro whilst Inter need to find an agreement with Manchester United in order to keep Sanchez at the club.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state that when it comes to a back-up option for Lukaku, Inter manager Antonio Conte is pushing for Roma captain Edin Dzeko to be signed whilst Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud would willingly move to the club.
