Inter want to give Lautaro Martinez a new and improved contract with the club according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Inter wish to adapt the €111 million release clause that is in his current contract which runs until the end of the 2022/23 season and they also wish to give him a salary raise.

In the coming weeks when it is easier to travel around, Lautaro’s representatives will be in Milan to hold talks with Inter management over a new deal.

The highly rated Argentine national team player has been heavily linked with a potential transfer to Barcelona for some time and the report explains that they have a concrete interest in signing him.

The La Liga giants could move for him once Luis Suarez’s future becomes clearer. The Uruguayan’s representatives are in talks with MLS franchise Inter Miami and if he leaves, the Blaugrana club could move for Lautaro.
