Inter manager Antonio Conte will once again snub Christian Eriksen and start him on the substitutes bench in tomorrow’s season finale against Atalanta according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

As things stand, Inter’s midfield will consist of Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella and Roberto Gagliardini whilst Borja Valero could play in place of one of the trio but not Eriksen, who will start on the substitutes bench for the third time in six matches tomorrow at the Gewiss Stadium.

The report goes on to highlight that Inter still have the Europa League to contest in and Eriksen could be given opportunities in that competition to redeem and prove himself having not entirely lived up to expectations since his arrival at the club in the most recent January transfer window.

Since joining the former Ajax player has made 21 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided three assists.
