The match official assignements for the final round of Serie A fixtures for this season have been announced with referee Piero Giacomelli having been assigned to referee Inter’s match away to Atalanta.

This season the 42-year-old referee has refereed 17 matches across all competitons to date. Saturday’s match at the Gewiss Stadium will be the third time he referees a match involving Atalanta whilst it will be the fourth time he referees a match Inter are playing in.

Giacomelli, who refereed Inter as recently as the goalless draw with Fiorentina little over a week ago, has handed out 67 yellow cards and a single red card in the 17 matches he has refereed this term.

Giorgio Peretti and Daniele Bindoni will be the assistant referees to Giacomelli whilst Daniele Doveri will be the fourth official for the match.

Luigi Nasca has been appointed to take charge of VAR and he will have Luca Mondin alongside to assist him.
