Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is likely to start over Alexis Sanchez alongside Romelu Lukaku against Atalanta this evening, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 22-year-old Argentine forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, has been suffering from a period of poor form since the restart of the season, but played well against Napoli earlier this week, scoring a lovely goal to secure the three points for the Milanese club.

The report continues that Lautaro is the favourite to start ahead of in-form Alexis Sanchez against the Bergamo based club this evening.

In the midfield three players are in contention to start, the report continues. These players are Roberto Gagliardini, Christian Eriksen and Borja Valero.

In the left wing back role Ashley Young is likely to start, whilst Diego Godin will start ahead of Milan Skriniar in the defensive back three. A win for the Milanese club will guarantee a second place finish in the league.
