Inter are looking to build the club’s midfield around Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen and are interested in Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombélé, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri will commit to a 3-4-1-2 formation for next season, with the 28-year-old former Tottenham talisman playing behind the attacking duo.

The club are looking to strengthen the midfield department this summer, and after signing Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali want to also secure another strong midfielder.

The new idea is Tottenham’s Ndombélé, the report continues. The 23-year-old Frenchman wasn’t even in the match-day squad in the last three league games, showing the fractured relationship with coach José Mourinho.

The Nerazzurri may send Spurs Milan Skriniar in exchange for the player, although another idea is money and Ivan Perisic in exchange. Ndombélé has scored two goals and provided four assists in 29 appearances this season.
