A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera has detailed how coach Antonio Conte’s Inter has almost closed the gap with Juventus.

The report details how the gap in terms of squad quality may not have been closed as much, but in terms of points it has been. Last season the Nerazzurri finished 21 points behind the Bianconeri, finishing a distant fourth place, where as this season they go into the final game of the season only four points behind.

Inter will continue building off their current work, the report continues, and so will reinforce the squad this summer in order to continue closing the gap between themselves and the Bianconeri.

The club are looking to sign at least two midfielders, one or two new forwards and a new defender. The Milanese club are looking to fight for the league title next season again, this time with more squad depth.
