Inter are hoping to send Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar to Tottenham in exchange for French midfielder Tanguy Ndombélé, but there are two obstacles, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte benched the 25-year-old Skriniar in three of the last four games, showing the player that he is no longer unsellable. The Milanese club may be forced to lose Skriniar this summer considering that it’s likely that Lautaro Martinez will remain with the club.
Inter went to straight player exchange between Skriniar and Tottenham’s Ndombélé, the report continues, but there are two problems. The first is that Tottenham president Daniel Levy isn’t keen on losing the 23-year-old Frenchman after only one season, considering the investment made to bring him to North London.
The second issue is that Skriniar himself wants to stay with the Nerazzurri, despite the fact that the club are looking to sign Hellas Verona starlet Marash Kumbulla.
