A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera has examined Inter coach Antonio Conte’s outburst last night, after the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 win over Atalanta.

The report details how the Lecce born coach hit out at the club’s management in interviews after the Milanese club’s 2-0 win over Atalanta last night.

The win meant that Inter finished second in the league table, one point behind winners Juventus. Despite the result, Conte criticised the club for failing to protect him and the squad in the media.

The criticisms were aimed at president Steven Zhang and CEO Beppe Marotta, the report continues, with the president having been away from Italy for months now, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This is not an ideal atmosphere for the squad ahead of their Europa League clash against Getafe next week, a shame considering their strong performance against Gian Piero Gasperini’s team in Bergamo yesterday.
