Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin analysed Inter’s second place finish in the league and the outburst of coach Antonio Conte in the media in a report from Italian media outlet Libero earlier today.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach managed to guide the Nerazzurri squad to 82 points, a second-place finish one point behind winners Juventus, showing the coach’s technical ability and ability to grow a squad. Whilst his process may be slow, it’s clear that it does work and can improve squads dramatically.

Conte is clearly unhappy to finish in second place, the report continues, especially because they are only one point behind his former side.

The Milanese club lost both games against the Bianconeri this season, in two games that the 51-year-old Italian coach surely regrets. Conte’s next test is against Spanish side Getafe on Wednesday in the Europa League, in a single legged game that’ll be played in a neutral venue in Germany.
