There are two obstacles preventing a swap deal between Inter and Tottenham Hotspur involving Milan Skriniar and Tanguy Ndomebele taking place according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Ndombele only joined Spurs last season in a club record €60 million transfer deal from Lyon and has struggled to live up to expectations. Spurs president Daniel Levy thinks a swap involving Ndombele would be a personal defeat.

Spurs boss and former Inter manager Jose Mourinho loves Skriniar and thinks he is the perfect defender for his style of play.

A swap involving both players would be ideal for Inter both from a technical and economic point of view. However, the report from the broadcaster goes on to state that Levy’s current stance on swapping Ndombele plus Slovakian national team player Skriniar’s annual salary are obstacles in a swap deal taking place between the two clubs.
