The match official appointments for the upcoming round of Europa League action have been announced and Anthony Taylor has been assigned to referee Inter’s match with Getafe.

The English referee, who typically referees in the English Premier League, has refereed 43 matches across all competitions to date this season, in which he has dished out 174 yellow cards and eight red cards.

Wednesday night’s match between Inter and Getafe will in fact be Taylor’s second time this season that he has refereed a match involving the Nerazzurri as he refereed their 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League group stage.

Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn will be the assistant referees at the Arena’Auf Schalke whilst the fourth official for the match will be Chris Kavanagh. Stuart Attwell will be in charge of VAR and will have Paul Tierney alongside to assist him.

Inter versus Getafe is scheduled to kick off at 21:00 local time on August 5.
