Photo – Inter Striker Romelu Lukaku: “My Teammates Have Been Wonderful To Me”

Inter striker Romelu Lukaku reflected upon his first season in Italy in a post on his Instagram page yesterday.

The 27-year-old Belgian striker joined the Nerazzurri from Manchester United last summer in a record-breaking deal for the Milanese club, setting high expectations. Coach Antonio Conte famously had wanted Lukaku for years and so the partnership was an exciting prospect, which quickly lived up to potential. The Belgian has scored 29 goals and provided five assists in 47 appearances this season.

Serie A is finished but we’re still building and going the right way. Thank you for supporting the team throughout this season.
