Alexis Sanchez’s permanent switch to Inter will soon be made official according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Chilean national team player has spent the season on loan at Inter and he has secured his release from Manchester United in order to join Inter on a permanent basis.

The former Barcelona and Arsenal star has agreed to a three year contract with Inter which comes with an annual salary of €7 million, which is significantly less than what he was earning at Manchester United.

The report explains that Sanchez’s move will shortly be made official and will be yet another sign of the club’s ambition following the recent capture of highly rated wing-back Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid.

Whilst on loan at Inter, 31-year-old Sanchez has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park he has scored four goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates.
