Inter manager Antonio Conte has admitted that he will do everything in his power to help the team do well in the Europa League.

“I’ll do everything in my power. We are here with the lads to get the most out of it, then it’s inevitable that there are others who would like to steal our idea, but we must take step by step,” he explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Conte then went on to share what he is expecting from tomorrow night’s clash against Spanish side Getafe, which will be just a one legged affair and held at the Arena Auf’Schalke in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

The winner of the match will qualify for the quarter finals and will face the winner of the match between Rangers and Bayer Leverkusen.

“Tomorrow’s game will be very difficult, and we must think about this match, then we will eventually think about the next one but everything depends on tomorrow, we’re either in or we’re out and we have to do well to demonstrate our desire to advance and overcome our opponents.”

The former Italian national team manager was then asked if he had anything further to add following his most recent public outburst after Inter’s 2-0 win over Atalanta in the season finale of the 2019/20 Serie A season.

“I have already said everything and I do not want to go back to this topic. We are focused on the game and the important thing is to try to complete what we did, the good season and to finish in the best possible way the Europa League.”

In conclusion the newly turned 51-year-old was asked if a meeting with Inter president Steven Zhang has served to help things.

“I’ve said everything already, there is nothing else to say.”
