Inter are ready to extend the contracts of three first team players according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giornale.

Inter are set to hand one year contract extensions to Borja Valero, Samir Handanovic and Danilo D’Ambrosio. Upon signing Valero will be under contract with the club until the end of the upcoming season whilst Inter captain Handanovic and D’Ambrosio’s contracts with the club will run until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Borja Valero’s current deal with the club is due to expire at the end of the month but having performed well, especially since the season resumed in June, Inter are to reard him with a new contract.

Handanovic has been virtually ever present for Inter this season with him having appeared in 44 of the Nerazzurri’s 49 competitive matches to date, in which he has kept 14 clean sheets.

D’Ambrosio has meanwhile seen himself used as both a centre back and wing-back over the course of the season, in which he has four goals in 28 appearances.
