A mutual termination of contract between Inter and manager Antonio Conte remains the most probable hypothesis according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Relations between the two parties have broken down and it appears very much difficult to heal the current situation which has led to Conte’s future in charge of Inter being thrown up in the air.

Conte is convinced that there is a need for real change within the club, especially when it comes to sporting director Piero Ausilio. In his meeting with Inter president Steven Zhang, Conte will explain what he thinks is required for Inter to get back to winning ways when it comes to both the transfer window and at management level.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that should Conte end up leaving his post as Inter manager, former Juventus manager Massimiliano ‘Max’ Allegri could replace him.
