Inter manager Antonio Conte will deploy Inter in a 3-5-2 system in tonight’s Europa League clash against Getafe according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Conte has deployed Inter in a 3-4-1-2 system for the most part since the 2019/20 season resumed back in June but he will stick with the system he used in the first half of the season and also reverted back to for this past weekend’s 2-0 win over Atalanta in the season finale.
The report goes on to explain that Conte is likely to stick with the same team who overcame the Bergamo club meaning Danilo D’Ambrosio, Diego Godin, Nicolo Barella, Roberto Gagliardini will retain their places.
The likes of Antonio Candreva, Victor Moses, Milan Skriniar and Christian Eriksen will all have to settle for starting from the bench again.
Inter versus Getafe is due to kick-off at 21:00 local time at the Arena Auf’Schalke and the winner of the tie will face Rangers or Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter finals.
