Inter could bring former youth player Federico Bonazzoli back to the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are one of a number of clubs to have sparked an interest in signing the 23-year-old striker, who has just under a year left to run on his contract with current employers Sampdoria.

The Nerazzurri club could bring Bonazzoli back to the club in order to complete the attack given that he would help Inter to meet UEFA squad list requirements due to his academy graduate status.

Bonazzoli joined the Blucerchiati back in 2015 from Inter and has spent a large chunk of his time with the club out on loan at the likes of Padova, Brescia and SPAL among others.

This season Bonazzoli played fairly regularly for Sampdoria with him making 19 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored six goals, four of which came after the season resumed in June and helped Sampdoria to achieve safety.
