Federico Dimarco has shared that he will be supporting his Inter teammates in the Europa League as part of his personal review of the season he has just had.
The full back is under contract with Inter until 2023, played four games for Inter in the first half of the 2019/20 season before being loaned out to fellow Serie A side Hellas Verona for the second half of the season.
“A season different from the others due to the difficulties we had to face and overcome together has come to an end. I hope that we can soon return to normal together with fans back in the stadium,” he began a long post on his official Instagram account.
The Italian youth national team player proceeded to thank both Inter and Hellas Verona and he also admitted he will be backing his teammates as they play in the Europa League.
“I thank Inter for the wonderful emotions I experienced wearing the Nerazzurri shirt, they were months of adrenaline and passion.
“I wish for my teammates to get more satisfaction when playing in the Europa League. I will be your number 1 fan. I thank Hellas Verona for welcoming me very well, making me feel at home and giving me the opportunity to experience a new and positive energy in a large group! Thank you all.”
Inter’s Europa League campaign resumes later on today with them due to face Spanish side Getafe in a one legged match at the last 16 stage. The winner of the match will face the winner of the match between Rangers and Bayer Leverkusen.
