Inter defender Valentino Lazaro’s agent Max Hagmayr has revealed that he is in advanced negotiations with another club.

“We are already in advanced talks [with another club]. I would like to discuss all this with Valentino after he returns from vacation,” Hagmayr explained in an interview with the online edition of Austrian newspaper SportKrone.

“There are interested parties. I am speaking to some clubs, but at the moment there is still no final decision but I repeat, we are already very far with one club.”

Hagmayr then went on to discuss something that he feels is important for his client following his experience this past season where he spent half the season at Inter and the other half at Premier League side Newcastle United.

“After this season, it is important that he plays more.”

Hagmayr proceeded to reveal that there is an excellent relationship in place with current Inter manager Antonio Conte, despite Lazaro struggling to cement a place under Conte in the first half of the 2019/20 season.

“We have an excellent relationship, there is a mutual appreciation. The moment was not the right one. We have no influence on what happens inside the club.”

Lazaro joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal from Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin in the Summer of 2019 on a four year deal.

He made 11 appearances for Inter during the 2019/20 season in which he provided two assists and then made 15 appearances whilst out on loan at Newcastle United, which he scored two goals in.
