Italian Media Report Meeting With Inter President Steven Zhang Has Calmed Antonio Conte Down

Cordial relations have begun to be restored between Inter and manager Anotnio Conte according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

In the days since Conte’s outburst after the 2-0 win over Atalanta, the club and coach have been trying to repair the tear in relations which has cast doubt over Conte’s future in charge of the club.

Conte’s future remains uncertain and a conversation with club president Steven Zhang had minimal impact. Although Conte did calm down, he did not change from the position that he current holds. Despite this, cordial relations are in the process of being restored.

Inter management as well as Conte and the coaching staff all dined together yesterday ahead of Inter’s Europa League match against Getafe later on today. Inter’s priority today is to try and win the Europa League despite all that is going on off of the field.
