Lautaro Martinez is one of several strikers Manchester City have looked at as they look to bolster their attacking options according to a report from The Athletic.

The Premier League club have looked at several different players who they could add to their team in the upcoming transfer window and Inter and Argentine national team striker Lautaro is among them.

Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix plus Tottenham Hotspur captain Harry Kane are both also understood to have been looked at by the Citizens who could spend around £300 million (approximately €332 million) on reinforcements in the coming months.

Lautaro, who has been with Inter since the Summer of 2018 and is contracted to them until the end of the 2022/23 season, has also been heavily linked with a potential move to La Liga powerhouses Barcelona in recent weeks and months.

This season Lautaro has made 45 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored 19 goals and provided six assists for his teammates.
