Barcelona wil only sign Inter striker Lautaro Martinez if Luis Suarez leaves the club according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The Blaugrana club have been courting Lautaro for a considerable amount of time but will not have both Lautaro and Suarez in their squad.

Suarez currently has an offer from a MLS franchise whilst Lautaro currently has an agreement over personal terms with Barceona and will wait another year to join the La Liga powerhouses if necessary.

Lautaro does not want to join Barcelona if he will be stuck on the bench for a year whilst Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu cannot afford another big signing to flop after Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann all have in recent seasons.

Barcelona also have financial problems and at the moment it is impossible for them to pay €70-100 million for the 22-year-old, who is under contract with Inter until 2023.
