Romelu Lukaku, Samir Handanovic, Christian Eriksen, Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni were Inter’s joint best performers in last night’s 2-0 win over Genoa in the last 16 of the Europa League according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lukaku opened the scoring for Inter around the half hour mark in the game whilst Eriksen grabbed the Nerazzurri’s second goal near the end of the game after coming off of the substitutes bench.

Handanovic made several key saves in both halves of the game whilst Barella and Bastoni both also performed well at the Arena Auf’Schalke. All five players have been handed a rating of 7/10 for their efforts.

Stefan de Vrij and Lautaro Martinez all got 6.5 ratings whilst Danilo D’Ambrosio, Ashley Young, Christian Biraghi all got 6/10 and Roberto Gagliardini and Alexis Sanchez both got 5.5. The worst performers of the night were Marcelo Brozovic and Diego Godin, who both got 5/10.
