Lionel Messi is to meet with the Barcelona leadership soon in order to discuss his future with the club according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

The Barcelona captain and multi-time world player of the year has just under a year left on his current contract with the club and although he would like to end his career with the Blaugrana, the report from Sport Mediaset insists that any scenario is possible.

Messi has been linked with a potential switch to Inter once his contract runs out with the La Liga powerhouses, who he has spent his entire career to date with and the report states that nothing is impossible.

The 33-year-old attacker has made 42 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, which totals just over 3600 minutes, Messi has scored 30 goals and provided 26 assists for his teammates.
