Alexis Sanchez’s wages will cost Inter close to €30 million over the duration of his three year contract according to a report from Italian news outlet Calcio e Finanza.

Including the Italian tax laws which allow Inter to make a saving, Sanchez’s wages will cost them €9.17 million per season and €27.51 million for the duration of the contract.

Inter also made a real saving when it came to bringing him to the club as they never had to pay a transfer fee as he freed himself from his contract from Manchester United, who had been demanding in the region of €15-20 million for him.

Sanchez’s move to Inter was made official earlier on today although Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta as good as made it official prior to last night’s Europa League match against Getafe, which Inter won 2-0.

Sanchez was already on loan at Inter and is now their player on a permanent basis. This season he has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and tallied 10 assists.
