Inter have announced the signing of Alexis Sanchez on a free transfer via an official statement posted on the club website.

The Chilean national team player freed himself from his contract with Premier League side Manchester United which still had two years left on it and this is what has enabled Inter to sign him on a free transfer.

Inter have signed the former Barcelona and Arsenal star to a three year contract which will run until June 30 2023.

Sanchez joined Inter on a season long loan from Manchester United in the Summer of 2019 and whilst the early part of his loan spell was a struggle with him spending several months out due to injury, Sanchez has managed to get his career back on track following a difficult spell at Manchester United.

The 31-year-old attacker has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date for Inter, in which he has scored four goals and provided his teammates with 10 assists.
