Inter new boy Alexis Sanchez has revealed that he is delighted to have completed a permanent move to Inter and has shared his hopes of picking up ome silverware with the club.

The Chilean national team player completed a permanent switch to Inter yesterday with him joining on a free transfer after freeing himself from his contract with Premier League side Manchester United.

Sanchez has joined Inter on a three year contract and reports in the media have suggested he will earn in the region of €7 million a year from this contract.

“Hello there Inter fans. I am very, very happy to be staying here with you,” Sanchez explained in a video which was shared on Inter’s official Twitter feed.

“I think that I had this desire to stay here because I have found a family, in the staff and everyone who is eager to fight and win something for this club.

“I am hungry and want to win something, so that is why I am so happy to be here, with you, to win something.”

The 31-year-old was already on loan at Inter prior to completing his permanent switch. He has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date for the club. In his time on the park, which totals just under 1400 minutes, he has scored four goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates.
