Inter director Dario Baccin is among the candidates Parma are considering to be their new sporting director according to a report from the online edition of Italian news outlet ParmaToday.

Daniele Faggiano is set to depart the club for Genoa and therefore the Ducali are on the hunt for someone to fill the void that Faggiano’s departure will create.

Baccin, who is the right hand man of Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio, has held talks with the owners of the Stadio Ennio Tardini side and would like guarantees before leaving his post at Inter to take up a post at Parma, who are believed to have some doubts about Baccin, largely due to his experience, due to him only being 43-years-old.

A report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio states that the meeting between Baccin and Parma was positive, as was the meeting between Parma and Cagliari sporting director Marcello Carli.

The report also adds that Parma are also due to meet current Juventus director Federico Cherubini as well.
