Not even winning the Europa League could restore relations between Inter and manager Antonio Conte according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

After Inter’s 2-0 win over Atalanta last weekend, Conte had another public outburst and this has led to a lot of tension being created at the club and doubts over his future in charge have appeared.

The report states that at the end of the season, once Inter’s Europa League campaign is over, Inter and Conte will meet to discuss their future together.

During the few days spent in Germany for the Europa League last 16 match against Getafe, Conte and club management spent a lot of time together and things were rather peaceful.

The report goes on to explain that Conte would like more autonomy and powers but the club are unlikely to satisfy the former Italian national team manager’s demands.

Conte’s comments to ANSA earlier on this week suggested he realised he went a bit too far with his comments and with his comments to ANSA he wanted to try and ease tensions, just like he did when he commented on the signing of Alexis Sanchez, where he praised club management.
