Inter have a team capable of going all the way and winning the Europa League according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Starting with Inter’s defence, they have found top form as of late with them having not conceded a goal within their last five matches across all competitions to date. Goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is a certainty as is youngster Alessandro Bastoni, who looked like a veteran in his first European start in the win over Getafe in the last 16.

The midfield are also doing well. Nicolo Barella has grown exponentially over the course of the season and he is also a certainty for the Nerazzurri. The impact of Christian Eriksen, who came off the bench and scored against Getafe, was very positive and now he must take Inter by the hand and help them with the qualities he posseses as a top player.

In the attack, Lautaro Martinez is finding his feet again whilst what Romelu Lukaku is achieving is no longer a surprise. Inter also have Alexis Sanchez to call upon. It seemed impossible that he would stay a few months ago but he has starred since the season resumed in June.

Inter are next in Europa League action on Monday night when they take on Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter finals.
