Roma will not let club captain Edin Dzeko go unless they receieve huge offers for him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Following Roma’s change in ownership, Roma have decided that Nicolo Zaniolo, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Dzeko are not for sale and provided no huge offer arrives for Dzeko, the Bosnian and Herzegovina national team player will continue to represent the club.

Dzeko, who has been linked with a potential move to Inter in recent weeks and months, has two years left to run on his €7.5 million a year deal with the club, who are seeking a young player who can support him.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Roma have an interest in signing free agent defender Jan Vertonghen. The Belgian, who recently left Tottenham Hotspur, has also been linked with a potential move to Inter.
