Zinho Vanheusden looks set to spend next season with Standard Liege according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Inter sold Vanheusden to the Belgian Pro League outfit last Summer and as part of the deal the clubs came to a gentleman’s agreement which enables Inter to resign him this Summer and next Summer.

Inter have however not been in contact with neither the player nor his agents with regard to bringing him back to the club.

The report does go on to explain that Vanheusden will be back in an Inter jersey after the end of the coming season according to the gentlemen’s agreement reached between the clubs and the player himself is convinced this is the right move.

For the time being though his immediate future looks set to be with Standard Liege, who have recently named him the new club captain, despite him only being 21-years-old.

The Inter academy graduate made 29 appearances across all competitions this past season in which he scored two goals.
