A report from today’s paper edition of the Genoa based newspaper Il Secolo XIX has detailed how Genoa are set to compete with Hellas Verona and Crotone for Inter midfielder Lucien Agoumé.

The report details how the three clubs are interested in signing the 18-year-old French midfielder, who made his first team debut under coach Antonio Conte earlier this season.

The Gialloblu are hoping that Agoumé can be included in the deal for 20-year-old Albanian defender Marash Kumbulla, although Inter have no interest in losing the French teenager permanently.

Genoa are now set to provide competition to Verona and Crotone for the 18-year-old, the report continues, hoping to sign him on loan.

Agoumé has made three first team appearances so far this season for the Nerazzurri, for a total of 65 minutes. Contracted until 2022, the Frenchman signed for the Milanese club last summer from French second tier side FC Sochaux Montbéliard.
