Inter are planning to exchange defender Milan Skriniar with Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, despite the future of coach Antonio Conte at the club being uncertain, according to a report from Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are pressing ahead with the exchange between the two players, not taking into account whether Conte stays or not.

This despite other reports suggesting that the Milanese club may reconsider should the 51-year-old Italian coach be replaced by former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri.

The former Sampdoria man Skriniar has disappointed in Conte’s tactical system this season, failing to impress in a three-man backline.

Talks are currently ongoing, the report continues, and should Skriniar leave at the end of the season, then the Nerazzurri will look to make a decisive move for Hellas Verona talent Marash Kumbulla.

Lazio are also keen to sign the 20-year-old Albanian defender but are currently working hard to sign Spanish midfielder David Silva.
