Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi has fully recovered from his injury but will start the Europa League clash against Bayer Leverkusen on the bench, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 25-year-old Italian midfielder has made a full recovery from a biceps femoris muscle injury and has returned to squad training but will not start against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League.

The former Sassuolo midfielder has struggled with injuries all season, but the Nerazzurri still believe in the player.

Despite his recovery, Inter are not willing to take a risk with him and will not start him against Bayer Leverkusen next week, the report continues.

Sensi has made 18 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1007 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and provided four assists, with all of those coming in the first six league games of the season.
