Inter could shake up their defence this summer, as both Diego Godin and Milan Skriniar could be sold, and the club are interested in Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic and free agent Jan Vertonghen, according to a report from Italian media outlet Quotidiano.net yesterday.

The report details how the Nerazzurri could look to sell the 25-year-old Skriniar for a significant fee this summer, with the player having many suitors across Europe.

He has struggled to impress in coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system this season, the same issuing facing veteran Godin. The former Atletico Madrid man could leave at the end of the season due to his inability to shine in a three-man defence, although his form has recently improved.

Vertonghen is still a possible target for the Nerazzurri, the report continues, but the exciting new name is Fiorentina’s Milenkovic.

The 22-year-old Serbian has impressed this season with the Viola, but would cost around €30 million, the same figure needed to bring Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla to Milan.
