AS Monaco have developed an interest in signing Inter central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic according to a report from Spanish news outlet todofichajes.com.

AS Monaco’s new manager Niko Kovac has expressly requested that his compatriot is brought to the club ahead of the new season.

The Ligue 1 outfit are prepared to make a €22 million offer for Brozovic, who is also subject to interest from Bayern Munich, but Inter’s demands for the former Dinamo Zagreb player are far higher than that.

Brozovic is seen as transferable by Inter and club officials have communicated this to Brozovic’s representatives and the report claims that Brozovic would like to work under Kovac, who also wanted him whilst he was in charge of Bayern Munich.

This season the 27-year-old, who is contract to Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 43 appearances across all competitions to date. In just under 3600 minutes, Brozovic has scored three goals and provided six assists for his teammates.
