Inter owners Suning’s majority shareholder Zhang Jindong is the second richest owner of all owners of Italian football clubs according to the Bloomberg billionaires list published today, as highlighted by Italian news outlet Calcio e Finanza.

Zhang Jindong ranks 259th overall in the Bloomberg billionaires list with an estimated total assets value of $7.52 billion.

Only Fiorentina owner and club president Rocco Commisso has more assets than Zhang Jindong with the American Italian businessman having an estimated total assets value of $9.05 billion, an increase of $1.98 billion compared to last year.

Overall Zhang Jindong is the ninth richest football club owner worldwide. Mexican tycoon Carlos Slim, who owns Spanish second division side Real Oviedo, is the richest with an estimated total assets value of some $45.7 billion.

Francois Pinault, who owns French side Rennes is second richest with a total assets value of $38.1 billion and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is third with a total assets value of $15.9 billion.
