Sassuolo have set an asking price for young striker Gianluca Scamacca according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Resto del Carlino.

Sassuolo want a sum of €15 million for the Italian youth national team player who has spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Serie B club Ascoli.

Scamacca has drawn links to a whole array of clubs in recent weeks and months including Benfica, Marseille, Juventus, Roma, AC Milan and Inter.

The report goes on to explain that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is thinking of submitting a player plus cash offer for Scamacca.

Marotta is thinking of offering €10 million plus young central defender Lorenzo Pirola, who recently made his first team debut for Inter.

This season the 21-year-old has made 35 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, he has scored 13 goals and provided a single assist for hs teammates.
