Inter are ahead in the race to sign Sandro Tonali whilst Juventus are also in the running to do so according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

In the past few months Inter have held talks with both the player and his representatives and it is understood that his agent Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bozzo has made more than one promise to Inter regarding his client. Despite this, Inter are yet to make a concrete offer to Brescia for him.

Brescia are also in talks with Juventus, namely Juventus’ sporting director Fabio Paratici, however Juventus must sell players before being able to make a move for the Italian national team player.

The report from the Milan based news outlet states that AC Milan have shown an interest but their €25 million offer has done nothing and despite Inter’s advantage, it would appear that everything is still to play for.
