Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is ready to build a team that can rise to a new level and win important titles immediately according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Following Juventus’ appointment of the inexperienced Andrea Pirlo as manager, other clubs have been given a glimmer of hope when it comes to ending Juventus’ dominance in Serie A and Inter are the first to hope to interfere and end the Bianconeri’s dominant run.

The report goes on to explain that the feeling at Inter is that with the right precautions, they can really challenge to win the Serie A title.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Pirlo’s appointment could lead to Inter manager Antonio Conte deciding to stay.

Conte’s future with the club is up in the air following his recent public outburst but the chance to dethrone his former employers could encourage him to stick around at the Nerazzurri.
