Former Inter and current Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini has shared his belief that Inter have what it takes to go all the way in the Europa League.

Inter are currently in the quarter final stage of the competition and are due to take on Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen later on today.

Should Inter get past Bayer Leverkusen, they will face the winner of the match between Shakhtar Donetsk and FC Basel in the semi final.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sevilla, Manchester United and FC Copenhagen are all opponents who Inter could face in the final on August 21 at the RheinEnergieSTADION should they make it that far.

“Inter have suffered but Conte plays a courageous and continental style. Inter can go all the way,” he remarked in an interview with Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, which appeared in today’s print edition of the Milan based news outlet.

Mancini had two spells in charge of Inter which totalled six years. During his time in charge of the club, the 55-year-old helped Inter win four Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana.
